At smallish, we know there is so much going on in these early days of having your new little one. You’re so tired and overwhelmed adjusting to this new life while at the same time having a bit of anxiety that the days are passing and you’re not capturing this special time. 

We believe in giving you the help you need to get you the portraits that you want and deserve. This is why we’ve created an experience that is easy, ensuring that you get exactly what you want: photos that capture the heart and soul of your new baby. Our newborn sessions are shorter than a lot of other studios because we don’t need 4 hours. We don't focus on props and different colored fabrics. Instead our newborn style is natural and connected to parents - babies live in their parents arms and that is what we capture. We capture what’s real.

First, we speak on the phone to get to know you and your family. We will then meet in the studio to plan and style your session. We keep everything simple and classic so that the attention and focus is on expression and the connection between you and your baby. You'll be able to view our curated line of heirloom products and decide how you'd like to best enjoy your portraits in your home. Your photo session will have a go-with-the-flow baby-led vibe. Clients who were nervous before regularly tell us how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed the experience. After your session, we'll sit down and go through the images to select and custom design your finished printed products to make sure your portraits can be loved and enjoyed more and more as time passes.
